I just sat down and added up, I am officially the worst blogger! I am 4 weddings, and 4 portrait sessions behind(at least!!) I just don't think I can keep up with the blog, plus Facebook. So, I've made the sad decision to discontinue blogging. I will always post previews on Facebook, and I know it doesn't look as pretty, but it's more functional - don't you think? 2011 Weddings Review!

Well I sat down for a few moments this afternoon to review 2011. It's been an amazing (whirlwind!) year for my business, the wedding side of which has been flat out. I feel so very honoured to have been invited to share these days with all these amazing people. I've travelled to some absolutely stunning locations, (and travelled, and travelled!!)....every wedding has been unique and beautiful and my love of weddings has grown so much. I hope you enjoy this little overview of what 2011 has meant and I'm looking forward to 2012 as being bigger and better!(I already have more bookings than this year - and I'm trying to limit them!!!)

Katie & Jonno {WA Wedding Photographer}

Katie & Jonno were married at the beautiful Joondalup Golf Course. I love the weddings there, it makes for such a relaxed and fun day. Hooning around on the golf buggies also added to the fun, although I never get to drive! A huge big thanks to Holly for second shooting with me on this wedding.

Playgroup Fundraiser Mini-session day {Family Photographer Wheatbelt}

As a fundraiser for the Dumbleyung playgroup, I travelled down to do mini-sessions with their gorgeous bubbly kidlets! The kids were all shot during their normal playgroup session, each having a 30 minute slot...I think you'll agree the kids put on their best behaviour for me! Anita booked me to do family photo's with her mum & dad, as well as her sister's and their partners. I loved Anita's comment that she didn't mind what time I showed up, as she was just revelling in her family spending quality time together...isn't that the way we always should be? Alex & Darren {Wedding Photographer Wheatbelt}

I've been so lucky this past wedding season with amazing couples, and amazing locations! Alex & Darren are a fantastic example of this. They got married locally, on the family farm in front of a booming canola crop. What better setting could you have! The reception was held in the machinery shed, and I'll admit, when I first saw it I had my doubts. The final result was nothing short of spectacular, they had transformed it into a wedding wonderland! Wongan Hills Centenary Ball

Wongan Hills celebrated it's centenary this weekend! A whole weekend of celebrations were enjoyed.....I was asked across to photograph some of the gorgeous dresses (and suits!) at the centenary ball on Saturday night. Wouldn't you agree...they all looked totally amazing!?

Michelle got ready at a house nearby with her sister Christine being her bridesmaid. Michelle had the colour red as her feature colour, as it's her favourite! It really set everything off well, and made for some interesting photo's too!

My job is the best...I truely love what I do. I hope that you can tell that by looking at my photo's? One of my favourite things is I get to spend a little bit of time with families, get to know new people, travel down new roads, get lost (haha) I know it's special, and important. Like the Cooke family. They don't get together very often, they are all starting to go their own seperate ways. Emily is about to travel....(lucky her!) Lynne asked them for some time this weekend since it's been "quite a while" since they were all in one place. I'm SO glad they did, I hope they are too...check out their sneak peek below.
PS - this family love their doggies...I think they add such personality to their images!

Chilly Winter Days...{Family Photographer Wongan Hills}

I know it's very tempting at present to snuggle up inside in front of a warm fire! But imagine if you are brave, and come for a shoot with me on a chilly winter afternoon? Rug up! It will be worth it, I promise. The light in winter is just divine and you get such pretty sunsets (if you're lucky!) And...we have the added bonus of NO FLIES!

Yesterday I met the gorgeous Sewell family. And they were....the kids had a great time showing me around a couple of their favourite spots on their farm. I think they're SO lucky...they have a beautiful rock & picnic area that my kids would have a ball at. Anyway...here is their sneak peek that I know they are waiting patiently to see!

Erin & Karl {WA Wedding Photographer}

Erin & Karl were married very recently on a lovely day in May. Now Karl is a New Zealander...so I thought it perfect to place the rings on the Kiwi bootpolish....and the cuff links were my favourite EVER!
Meanwhile...the girls got ready literally across the road from the church, so they could nervously watch their guests arriving! PS- the doll on the bed was Erin's childhood "friend"..now all dressed as a bride ready for her special day!

Erin's dress floated down these stairs so elegantly as she made her way to the ceremony...

The church was the stunning St Margaret's Church in Nedlands, with such a unique style it was almost like the royal wedding!
I'm not sure what the guys are doing here...something that Geologists do? Feel free to fill me in if you know the joke!?

Oh...and I now know where I want to get married (if I ever get married again hehe)...Mosman's was the most stunning location. Georgeous staff, beautiful setting, amazing food...check it out!

Werder Family {WA Family Photographer}

Firstly, just wanted to share....a canvas I got made up from my family session with travelling photographers Blue Lily Photography:

Ok, it doesn't look fab here, but I LOVE it. Why?...it's just us. It was the same old story, I didn't want to get family photo's until I'd lost weight, but if I didn't seize the day my boys were going to grow another year, and we know how much that means they change!

Moral of my story - if you're thinking of getting family photo's done - Carpe Diem!!! There is nothing sadder for me than families contacting me because someone is sick, and they wish they had of had photo's months before...... :( Don't let this happen to you...please!

Now....the point of my blog post and what started me thinking about that. THIS gorgeous family. 4 gorgeous sisters! Because I'm from a family of 5 girls, it got me thinking that we don't even have nice photo's of us, so that is my next challenge.

Back to the Werders (gee I'm off track today!) Amanda asked me to photograph her family as one of her sisters was visiting from overseas. Not the whole extended family, just the girls & their parents (who are so sweet by the way!) Thankyou SO much you guys for asking me, and for seizing the day, I hope you enjoyed it and enjoyed your time together.

Simon & Kim {Busselton Wedding Photographer}

Last weekend I had the absolutely pleasure of photographing the beautiful, fun & romantic wedding of Simon & Kim. The wedding party had booked out(invaded!) a whole section of Busselton, the girls were getting ready just down the road from the boys....

I was so excited to travel over to Geraldton on the weekend for Brooke & Ben's wedding, they are such gorgeous people, inside & out, and I knew the wedding would be no different!
Brooke got ready at the Mantra, she was assisted by her mum & 3 beautiful bridesmaids. They were so calm & organised when I arrived...

I have never giggled so much as during the couple's church service, this shot is after Brooke got corrected for offering Ben the wrong hand to put her ring on!

Diane & Travis contacted me for their wedding day as my "country" photo's really appealed to them. I was very excited to be shooting their wedding, which was out in Beverley. The little church they chose was on the edge of town, nestled in to the countryside with very pretty landscapes surrounding.

The couple used the theme of "wheat & sheep" so well throughout their day...from the Groom's buttonhole to the cake!

The reception was held at Faversham house, York, where the couple celebrated with family & friends in a marquee on the lawn.I've included one of the cake, which I thought was SO cute!

James & Natasha were married on Scarborough beach, a location that was very special to the couple. They live nearby, and spend a fair bit of time here. Some prerequisite photo's for their wedding day included photo's of their "baby". No problems, I'm pretty good at photo's of kids! BUT! The couple's baby is their absolutely adorable Golden Retriever - Gilly. So....photo's with Gilly.....

Tasha & the girls got ready at the beautiful Seashell's resort. They watched the waves lapping against the shore, whilst having their hair & makeup done. Doesn't really get much better! Pre-wedding, the stunning bride:

The girls then strolled down the foreshore, to the Scarborough ampitheatre, where Tash & James said "I DO!"

Charles contacted me to organise a suprise shoot for his lovely wife for mothers day. What a gorgeous idea....in return I said I'd blog about what a catch he was!!!
We struggled for ages to come up with a location, and because they are "bush people" (like me!) I ended up making the trek up the hills of Perth to a location near their house. Very glad I did! Now showing....the lovely Allardice family-

Isabella's family contacted me a while ago about doing family photo's once winter was over (not that we really had a "winter" here!) and the crops were looking cheerful. She was absolutely delighted to be hanging out with her mum & dad, she chatted away to us and had us laughing at her funny little noises she had just learnt to make. We didn't need to entertain her at all, she was the one entertaining us!

Adding to her delightfulness, the family farm is a perfect location for photo's.

A family I knew growing up {Perth Family Photography}

Cheryl contacted me to do family photo's. Just something simple she says! For her that meant gathering her family from far wide...to meet us on that day. It was a large group gathering, and I am only going to show you a couple of the smaller groups today...don't want to spoil the main attraction for them! First up, the very wonderful John & Cheryl:

Checking out the Wildflowers {Photographer in Kalannie}

A few days ago we ventured outside to see how the wildflowers are coming along this year. As it's been such a dry season, we aren't expecting exceptional amounts. But the white everlastings have come up nicely, carpeting the bush areas on our farm. Here's a few shots of the boys enjoying the beautiful flowers. Noah - with the only horse he'll ever own (yes, it's a reindeer hehe)

I need to explain this one. I bribe the boys while we're out taking photo's, they can take one of me for each one of them. Usually I end up with a card full of out of focus, ground shots or whatever...but here I think they did an ok job. SO! Being brave, for anyone that doesn't know me...here I am!

Getting my hair done on the weekend, only about 6 months overdue. Think I'll get the kids to take another photo when my hair looks good!!

365 project

Somehow I talked myself in to committing to this project. Not sure how that happened! Anyway, I have decided to ensure I take a SNAP every day for a year. Yes, that's 365 photo's. Seems easy? No, definitely not. On top of that I am keeping a Kikki K journal which I print the photo's and put them in, and write a bit about each day.
I started on my birthday (16 July) and am up to Day 33. Thought it was a bit of a waste of time, but now putting a few together you get quite a peak in to our lives. I have storyboarded July & August....just 9 from each month to get an idea.

I really need encouragement to keep my phojo up...please leave me a comment!! Thanks xx

Sweet light and sweethearts {Engagement Photography}

Sarah & Johnno have recently become engaged! Johnno proposed up on this rock in a very romatic style, so they wanted to go back here for some engagement photo's. Im trying not to share too many....but I did love the whole session, the light was just divine, as it quite often is on this chilly winter days.

Ness & Rocket {Wedding Photography Perth}

Visit to Merredin {Family Portraiture Photographer}

Yesterday I enjoyed a drive in my nice warm car...to visit Merredin and meet the adorable Max. Max had turned one during the week, and his parents wanted to get family portraits done...oh, and the odd shot of Max as well! I absolutely loved the location that his parents took me too, exactly my style of place. We had some fun and the midgies were nice and stayed away. Anyway, I promised a sneak peek today, so here it is:
First he started off shy...how cute is how to he is holding his daddy's finger?

In case you can't tell, Max is a bit of a daddy's boy!

Then he got warmed up, and started to show off his new ability to stand up!

Newborn Georgeousness....{Newborn Photographer Wheatbelt}

Hahn was welcomed into a lovely local family recently, being the 3rd boy - yah, all boy families rock! He had a tricky start to life being born prematurely and spent a bit of time in hospital. I got to meet him when he was nearly 1 month old. He was so cute to photograph, he didn't mind laying around nudie at all! Introducing Hahn....

Shooting in a town near you!

Wow, I've been extremely neglectful of my blog....really naughty. My apologies. I've made sure clients have had sneak peaks via Facebook. But wanted to catch up a little.Firstly wanted to blog about my trip to Dumbleyung. I cover all of the wheatbelt, and yes Dumbleyung is pretty much the other end from here!! If you're thinking about requesting I come to your town, I usually ask that a couple of families get together to make the travel worthwhile. Feel free to contact me to discuss this option!So anyway.....back to Dumbleyung. First family...gorgeous session with this little cutie, he wasn't actually standing yet, but we managed to prop him up for this cute shot:
Now...to the next farm, which OMG has 5 kids!!!!!! I grew up as one of 5 kids, so totally understood the vibe in this household...absolutely loved every second of this session, and by the end of it was wishing WE had 5 kids!! (hubby thrilled - NOT!) Their farm was just stunning, and perfect for the portrait session...so let me introduce..the whole gang...

Kate & Jordi's Wedding Day {Wedding Photographer Perth}

The sun was shining down beautifully on Kate & Jordi who were married in Perth recently. They chose Heathcoate Park, under a large gum tree to say their vows. How gorgeous are these two, just a little bit happy after the ceremony I think!!!

For the location photo's we went to Freo, there is no shortage of backdrops there!

Mission impossible?

Jo and I headed out today with the seemingly impossible task of grabbing family photo's for each other. The light was very uninviting and not playing the game for us, and neither would my husband who declined to attend!
We pushed on regardless....and hopefully I succeeded in my mission?

Wow, I can't believe it has been a whole year since I last photographed the gorgeous Ayla, and her family. In that time they have moved house to beautiful Denmark, and are expecting a new addition as well. Isn't Rachel looking stunning for 7 months pregnant? The couple said their vows overlooking the city on a lovely day.We had some photo's straight afterwards in the grounds of the reserve....including the mandatory boys silly shot (no encouragement required here!)

Introducing Lachlan....{Newborn Photographer}

Carmen & Travis {Wedding Photography}

Friends and neighbours of mine, Carmen & Travis were married this weekend at the Royal Perth Yacht Club. The weather was absolutely divine (lucky them!) and the day all ran completely to schedule due to Carmen's wonderful organisation and calm demeanour.

First up I want to say THANKYOU to Alinta for helping me with the photography on the day. I think she is hoping to blog some of her shots, so here is her blog in case- www.photoblog.alintafidzewicz.com.

Now, let's start with getting ready at the guys house. The guys were pretty much dressed when I got there (apart from Pizzle who was still in the shower!) Finishing touches completed by the grooms mum Robyn, and they were good to go.

Over at the girls house they were also running to schedule! The atmosphere was calm and relaxed as the girls helped their beautiful friend into her dress. Carmen may need to explain some of these....And isn't she the most stunning bride?
The couple said their vows on the lawn at the yacht club while their families and friends looked on.
After the ceremony, the bridal party hopped on the boat for some time away, a few photo's....and a bit of fun!

The sun was setting behind us in beautiful Matilda Bay, and the city on the other side - what more could we want?

Back to the yacht club, we climbed off the boat....ready to party!

I apologise for posting SO many photo's....but Mr & Mrs Stanley are off on a nice long honeymoon, and I wanted them to see some before they left. Have an absolutely brilliant time away you guys, and I look forward to catching up when you're back.

How I love my boys....

On the weekend the boys "asked" me to take a photo of them. I KNOW! The weirdest thing ever for photographers' children who are usually totally over the camera. So we dragged out this old chair from our sea container, it used to belong to the boys' Great Great Grandma. I'm about to recover it in a vintage brocade, so it is nice to have this photo of the boys on the original fabric.

Once I'd snapped one of the three of them together, Noah wouldn't get off the chair....and I'm glad he didn't!

Just a quick post today, not much to report, lots of weddings coming up so stay tuned!

With a very whirlwind engagement (a few short weeks) Kristy & Shane managed to organise a wedding to remember. Held at the Quindanning Hotel (http://www.quindanninghotel.com/) not far from their home town of Williams, 150 of their family and friends gathered to witness the beautiful day. The ceremony was held in the garden just outside the hotel. Absolutely lovely location.....
We then headed down the road a little to an abandoned homestead for a few photo's with the bride & groom.

As the photographer I am ALWAYS on the other side of the lens. Hence, there aren't a lot of family photo's of my gang around. With this in mind, I took the leap and contacted another Perth photographer, to see if she wanted to do a swapsy! That is....we shot each others family whilst on an outing together. January Photo a Day - Part 2

Welcome to the second installment of my photo a day challenge. I endeavour during the month of January to have the camera out every day. It's actually not much of a challenge...but processing and posting them is quite time consuming.

Day 8 - Shooting a wedding in Jurien on this day, the photo's can be seen in my previous blog post.

Day 9 - An impromptu dinner at the Ashworths saw Rex & Noah playing racing cars in some funky light!

Day 10 - Noah stealing my thong in the golf course...coz there were prickles!

Day 11 - We had to take Liam back to Perth today for an xray. So 6 hours in the car, and 2 hours waiting at PMH didn't leave me very inspired to take a PAD. I know...bad...but anyone that lives here will understand...it is pretty draining.

Day 12 - Noah, growing up way too fast:

Day 13 - 2 gorgeous shoots today, I have to share their previews. Firstly, the gorgeous Taylor. Just 3 weeks old, but perfect in every way.

Later in the day I met up with Shari. She was adorable to say the least....loving her clothing choices! (or her mum's!!!)

Day 14 - Dinner at a friends house the boys had a great time playing on the lawn with Bruce the puppy.

We are off on holidays tomorrow for 2 weeks. YAH! If you need to contact me try the mobile 0447 827 194. The next week will be spent in Perth where I will have a pile of shoots to share when I get back! After that we're going down South for a week of R&R. Plenty of inspiration for my PAD.

Sharon & Ryan {Jurien Bay Wedding}

Nope...I haven't moved! Although today I wished we would. Jurien Bay is SO beautiful!! Sharon & Ryan were married there today on the foreshore, no fuss, with friends to witness and their children to hold their hands. I was honoured to be present for such a beautiful ceremony, to watch lifelong friends become a united couple. The Jetty was a special place to them, it is where they first met each other!

January Photo A Day......post # 1

During January every year I participate in the Photo A Day challenge. It means I have to pick up my camera every day and photograph something that is going on in our lives. I love doing, it expands my photography, I usually learn something new, and I can make a coffee table style album at the end for our family.

So far........what has January held for us? We had a very quiet New Years, which is typical for us! (well, apart from Row, but you can ask him about that)

January 1 - spent at home. The boys got a new/old motorbike for christmas and have had lots of fun riding around. Noah get's the longest rides with his dad all the time:

She is definitely WIDER than that...but this was taken with my fisheye for a fun effect.

January 2 - I make pancakes for brekky most Sunday's. I have no idea if it's anywhere near Sunday here, all the days blend when it's school holidays! Kye is a fan of pancakes, and likes to help flip them, in his PJ's and all!

January 3 - we headed down to Perth and caught up with some friends. It was my twin neice/nephew's 1st birthday, but we arrived at the party late...missing all the action and good photo opportunities! Here is a record of them together on the day anyway:

January 4 - Well, already I've slipped! I didn't get a photo today, as spent the day in PMH with Liam. He broke his arm just before Christmas, and the bad news today was it had to be rebroken in surgery. He's had 2 operations in 3 weeks, so the anesthetic didn't go down well this time and we spent the night there.

January 5 - we headed home once we left the hospital. It was 44 at home, so we waited till later in the day. We stopped at Goomalling and grabbed some tea, and in the final light I thought I'd better get my PAD. Poor Liam feeling miserable!January 6 - my sister-in-law is over from Geraldton. This is her ADORABLE girl Scarlett...I grabbed her for 5 minutes before they left! Wish they lived closer, she is the same age as Noah and they would have some fascinating conversations I'm sure!!

January 7 - This is Liam, attempting to train our Kelpie Kasey. Yeah, she's a little crazy, and it's quite an impossible job. She wants to jump and love you all the time, instead of sitting:

January 8 - I headed over to Jurien Bay for a wedding. See my last post for the photo's!

Meeting Josie Charlotte......

Perth is a chaotic place at the moment, which I don't cope with very well coming from the peace & quiet here! On Saturday morning I went from the craziness of Perth's streets, into the serene and peaceful apartment to meet Josie. Josie is only a few weeks old, but she is wise and strong beyond her days....and a good size too boot! I think I've only just figured this out, but my absolute FAVOURITE age to photograph kids is...well, any age! However, I must say that the 6-9 month group seems to be particularly good fun. Why? They can sit up, they think everything is funny, they don't run away, they're just damn cute! Check out Georgie for example......I had the pleasure of catching up with her and her mum on Saturday morning. It was SO much fun! (sorry for the extended sneak peek, but isn't she the cutest?)

It's not just a stick........

Don't you love the imagination of kids? Noah has really grown up lately, his imagination is just wild. A stick is not just a stick, it's a fishing rod of course....shame I can't put sound effects on my blog, because he was very excitedly pulling in a big Barra (or something!!)

I've been lucky (and spoilt) enough to upgrade my camera recenlty. This is the second photo I took on it, I've been pretty impressed so far!!(although it's not exactly hard to take a photo of Noah)

This one, on the other hand, is a little bit more tricky. He loves to ignore me! He got his own little camera for his birthday recenlty, so he got to take photo's of me (OMG!) and in return he does a few for me. Works a treat!

It was Kye's birthday during the week, so I wanted a couple of nice shots of his to use for Thankyou cards. Happy Birthday to my gorgeous boy, I simply cannot believe that you are SIX. Just amazing!
This was one of my faves from yesterday.......just a classic! The old car was used by his dad (and bros & sis) to get to the bus stop when they were younger.

On Friday night I drove down to a farm just down the Rabbit Proof fence from us. It was a beautiful location! Here are a couple of sneak peaks for you guys from the day.

A snap of each of mine taken today.....for anyone who hasn't seen them for a while. Why on earth do they have to grow up so fast? Especially Noah, I think the third one "grows up" quicker than the others, he is such a copycat and loves his big brothers, so immitates anything they do. He's jumping on the trampoline here, but stopped for a sec to say "cheese" to me!!
Liam is at that age, or is it just his personality?, where it is hard to get a normal face out of him when the camera is around. This one is not too bad for him!
And saved this one for last, the infamous Kye who is of course filthy dirty, playing in the mud and covered in ash?!! Oh yeah, add to that desperate for a haircut!

We are in Perth this weekend, really looking forward to seeing everyone, the boys haven't seen their Nanny & Poppy (or any aunties BTW girls!) for quite some time. They are really excited and looking forward to it.

Rowan & I were really priveledged recently to be involved in the wedding of our wonderful friends Col & Jo. When they asked us to be best man & photographer we were totally excited! It was a tossup who was going to do which job, and with the Best Man's speech looming Row asked me to swap roles! Yeah, he's a great photographer by the way (NOT).

The Hillside Dickens

I haven't done this for a long time, because I was always chasing a technically "perfect" shot, and therefore missing out of the everyday craziness that happens around our place! I feel soooo sad when people say to me "I really mean to get photo's done, but..." or "we will book you for some photo's, but not until next year, when it's green", "not until I lose weight", "not until X is bigger". WHY? There is NO excuse. These are your moments people, and I'm here to capture them. Why would you put it off? Nobody knows what tomorrow holds. Nobody knows if they'll even be here...let alone fatter, older, uglier or more beautiful! It really doesn't matter! And don't do it for yourself, do it for your kids, for their kids, or for your family. Capture what you are today, because you don't know what tomorrow will bring....

Sorry, just something I feel sooooooo strongly about, and I had to get it out! And look how big my baby is now, maybe that is why I feel so sad...

I really enjoyed doing this shoot with these 2, we all had lots of fun, my boys came along too (had to have someone to kick the football with hey guys!) It's always nice to have models that do as they're told (well, almost!)

The wildflowers are just beautiful out here at the moment, you're mad if you miss them! It's been a fantastic year for them with all the rain...hasn't been too bad for the crops either.

My wonderful sister Nic visited us this weekend.....what a brave pair her & Dave are enduring the long drive with 7 month old twins. It was awesome to see them all anyway, we got to do lots of fun country stuff!

We also took lots of photo's, of which I've only editted a few for them. The wildflowers out here are pretty speccy at the moment if anyone else is considering a visit. This girl is my favourite model! She just loves to have her photo taken, as you can see by the shots. And also her mum is one of my best friends in the whole wide world. She jokingly calls herself my "ask anna" because if I ever need help with anything, she drops everything and is there for me....so THANKYOU Anna.

So..........I got off the plane from August Exposure, all inspired to do some work. Anna met me at the airport(see?!), and we shot down the road to an awesome location, thanks for spotting it Anna (again, see!?).

Today I ventured back to my old home town. It's a fantastic time of year down there, the place looks beautiful and lush. First stop the Fulwood family, who've just moved in to a new residence....

So they trooped out to our farm, on an adventure through the very boggy roads. It's scary and amazing to think that it's been 8 years! Wonderful, exciting, tumultuous, boistorous, inquisitive years.....Liam is clever with his mind, and clever with his hands. He loves to make things, invent things, inquire about things! He is a beautiful big brother to Kye & Noah, helping and guiding both when they need it. He helped Kye this week when he had an asthma attack during the night, calling me for help when Kye couldn't breathe to call out himself....he is such a loving big brother.

Liam really wanted a tool kit and to go to Scitech for his birthday, so he got both things from us. I find a toolkit a strange present, I still don't understand boys I don't think! Scitech is right up his alley, he is very into science.

Weekend weather in Perth

We travelled to Perth on the weekend, with a couple of shoots lined up. Unfortunately the weather in Perth is so unpredictable! It rained and was cold & windy, both shoots were postponed....sorry guys!
We had lunch with the family for my dad's birthday - Happy Birthday Poppy! I got a few shots of the twins whilst there. It is amazing how different their personalities are! I was pretty happy to get some nice ones of Will (yes Nic, shame about the jumper hehe) He is usually the serious & a bit grumpy one, but he loved hanging out in my chair!

Yesterday I had my commercial shoot with Case, nothing interesting to share. But on the way home I grabbed a couple of photo's (of course!) This is the house that Sue (my Mother In Law) grew up in...I have always wanted to stop & photograph it, so glad I got to yesterday....

I had the pleasure of shooting a large group of FUN girls today.....it is a pretty rare thing for me, having people do as they are told (well, almost)

Today was cuppa for cancer day....I went over to Dally playgroup, and offered mini-shoots with their kids.....WOW there are some gorgeous kids over there!!! Full proceeds going to cancer research, and I had a great time doing it...although my knees got a little wet!

Everyone tells me so! But I just can't seem to get it to look the way I want...and that annoys me. Anyway, will struggle through for a bit longer. So, what have we been doing? After school today I took the boys to Petrador Rock...5 mins down the road from me:

they were supposedly looking for tadpoles...but I think they were just there to jump in puddles:

Oh, and my current favourite photo of my boys....yes, they were having a blast! I was the crazy one who dragged the bath tub all that way too!!! The price we pay for a photo hey?

I haven't had a shoot for all of May after having to cancel last weekend due to all being sick. This weekend is going to be HUGE....so stay tuned to my blog for sneak peeks....I promise!!!

November Rain

Isn't this terrible, November is nearly gone and I've hardly made a blog entry? Busy, busy.

Harvest is well under way, and will be by far the best harvest we have had in years. The weather has been a bit painful so far, with a lot of rainy days, even hail this week. Looks like minimal damange though, just keeps stopping the header which means it will take a lot longer to finish.

I've been busy too. I have finished teaching my Yr 11's accounting, they had their exam this week - good luck girls!! I haven't done a lot of photography, which is a bit sad. Here's one of Kye helping me do my photography assignment (he was pretty proud of himself!!)

I also did a photo shoot yesterday with Wade & Blair, who were one of my first ever clients! You might remember Blair as that little curled up baby smiling in his sleep at 6 weeks old? Well, check him out now! Don't these boys have the most adorable eyes?

And, introducing the newest addition to our family, who is as yet unnamed: (possibly will be Becks if we all agree!!)

That's it from me, must go pack my bags to go to Perth now. It's my cousins wedding on the weekend, the first wedding we have been to in years!!!
